Post Legal issues with outsourcing
Many people have had to deal with this, you call for a computer problem and you get connected to India. I have no issue with India, I am just a huge fan of local. A new study came out today with all the legal issues, fraud and customer dissatisfaction outsourcing costs companies MORE money then doing things locally. Funny how that works.

Since everyone here is UCI, we should start a thread for great local places like the Lab and Camp. I think you would LOVE them.

Yeah. That is where the bike shop and sustainable goods store is. kinda hard to get to, but thats ok.

It is pretty funny to see products in the store (SEEDS) that you can find on Etsy, etc. Talk about local craftspeople.

Its behind the Vans store in the Camp, and carries quality clothing and accessories. They also teach classes there like jewelry making and such. Some examples of what they carry: organic cotton clothing, stainless canteens, recycled handmade notebooks, and recycled cardboard goods (so they are also biodegradable) like computer cases (I'm not sure if they actually carried that specific item, but they should. They carried analogous stuff though).
