Post Net Neutrality
Net neutrality is a very important issue not just to Open Source, but to internet use in general. Imagine seeing this when you're looking to buy an internet connection:

They call it a little over the top, but I really don't see it being that unlike what could happen. Isn't this just like buying cellular phone service?

The issue isn't that the government should prevent these companies from making as much money as they could be. Its that these companies essentially have regional monopolies, and if they jack the prices there is nothing the people that live under their reign can do about it. Which is why the government should step in and make sure they aren't hurting consumers simply because there is no competition to stop them.
